Details ‘expected next week’ on makeshift hospital for Hong Kong Covid fight



The initial design of a new makeshift hospital to ramp up Hong Kong’s capacity to fight a worsening fifth wave of coronavirus infections is expected to be decided as early as next week, the Post has learned.Sources said the makeshift hospital would be built on a “scalable plan” that would allow for capacity to be increased if the outbreak got out of hand.The makeshift hospital would be modelled on the type that first appeared in the mainland Chinese city of Wuhan at the start of the pandemic…
