Sialkot Industrial Zone to have smooth supply | The Express Tribune


LAHORE:

Similar to other industrial zones, Sialkot Industrial Zone will also have its own grid station and distribution system to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply, said Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) Chairman Syed Nabeel Hashmi.

He stated this in a meeting with Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Imran Akbar and former president Qaiser Baryar on Thursday.

Hashmi directed the management to present a detailed working paper of the Sialkot Industrial Zone in the next meeting of the board for final approval.

Sialkot Chamber delegation assured full cooperation to set up the industrial zone.

The consultancy and planning work on this project is slated to be completed in the current financial year.
